Ian West says
I met Adrian in 1992 in Surrey- got a try out to join his academy for the year. He accepted me: I was struck by his warmth, kindness and enthusiasm. I clearly remember him saying he’d rather be no where in the world than a tennis court. Unfortunately I didn’t take the place which I regret to the day as I was at university.
