Leolia JeanJean is a tennis player from France with an exciting future ahead of her. Once considered a tennis prodigy with long-term contracts from Nike and Lacoste, Leolia suffered a bad injury which saw her sponsors drop her like a stone. Reaching a career high WTA ranking of 548 using her own money she decided to go to US college for 2 years to keep up her tennis while receiving an education.
In this show you will hear how college hasn’t quite turned out to be what she thought it would be. You will hear how, even as young as 10 years old, she could feel the external pressures being placed upon her. Leolia goes into the valuable lessons she has learned from her years in tennis so far.
This chat will provide you with an insight to the cutthroat world of the professional sports industry. It is a must listen for any parent, coach and player of any sport.
I look forward to following Leolia’s journey back on to the tour where I am sure she can make a real impact. Watch out for her name.
